Although Virtualization is the primary cost servers in technolgy infrstructure, it is also one of the more costly components. The initial cost of virtualization software often more than offsets the cost savings of low-end hardware. Only companies that can afford to wait for the long term, lower total cost of ownership can even attempt such a venture. And then each year those expensive software mantenance cost that can be 20-30% of the initial software licensing cost. Well, hang on to your software captial. Vigilant, one of the pioneers in Hosted Virtualization solutions, has worked for years with VMware to get SAAS (software as a service) model for VMware licensing.
