On August 28, Vigilant proposed a Space Situational Awareness solution to the Air Force Research Labs as the subject of a Phase II SBIR effort. This is the natural next step from the company’s SBIR Phase I feasibility study that was conducted over a 3-month period from 3 June 2019 through the end of August 2019.
The result of the feasibility study revealed an excellent customer fit for Vigilant - a satellite monitoring cohort within the Air Force’s Space Vehicles Directorate - and led to the development of a proposed solution that will be developed for the Air Force under a Phase II award. This potential project work has also led to new relationships with various partners and vendors, and will underscore Vigilant’s growth as a software developer in the AI and Machine Learning areas in 2019.
Stay tuned for more news as the Phase II award should be decided within the next few weeks!

Windows PowerShell is a Windows command-line shell designed especially for system administrators. Windows PowerShell includes an interactive prompt and a scripting environment that can be used independently or in combination. Unlike most shells, which accept and return text, Windows PowerShell is built on top of the .NET Framework common language runtime (CLR) and the .NET Framework, and accepts and returns .NET Framework objects. This fundamental change in the environment brings entirely new tools and methods to the management and configuration of Windows.
